We Can Grow Enough Food AND Fuel For All America's Needs Today
David Blume is the founder of the International Institute for Ecological Agriculture and author of Alcohol Can Be A Gas. The book reveals how alcohol can fuel America's cars. In fact, it powered cars before gasoline until prohibition outlawed the production of alcohol. His message is that by using permaculture, we can grow enough food AND fuel for America's needs. He also has a plan for all of us to become part of the solution.
The video is 2 parts—each part is approximately 28 mins. Part 2 will begin after part 1.

With alcohol fuel, you can become energy-independent and reverse global warming. Alcohol fuel is “liquid sunshine” and can't be controlled by transnational corporations. You can produce alcohol for less than $1 a gallon, using a wide variety of plants and waste products, from algae to stale donuts.
- Alcohol is a much better fuel than gasoline
- You can use it in your car, right now
- You can even use alcohol to generate electricity
- Alcohol fuel production is ecologically sustainable, revitalizes farms and communities, and creates huge new opportunities for small-scale businesses
- Its byproducts are clean and valuable
- Alcohol has a proud history and a vital future
