Electric Cars
HERE's a long list of new electric car manufacturers, with prices, speeds, range and links to their websites.
As the price of gasoline soars, drivers everywhere are rethinking the way they use their vehicles. The documentary Who Killed the Electric Car informed us that major auto manufacturers had the technology for modern electric cars over a decade ago. If that technology had been pursued, the range and speed of electric vehicles would be greatly improved today.
Because the majors resisted the electrical car movement, entrepreneural car companies began producing electric cars that are now available. Range varies from 50-200 miles per charge depending on the company. Speeds vary from 25 mph to 120 mph. Prices range from $10,000 to $100,000.
Below are videos of new car companies followed by the offerings from the major auto manufacturers (yes, they are beginning to respond to the demand). Below that are videos of individuals who have removed gasoline tanks and engines from their existing cars and converted the gasoline cars to electric.
