Two unidentified craft and a being, described as an alien, was spotted by over thirty witnesses in Serbia. Serbian Radio Stations have been flooded by calls from the town of Zenta, where a cluster of cars leaving the town westward have been halted on the road as two craft identical one to the other landed on the roadway.
It is being reported that one was hazy completely and blue light covered it, the other was more clear and cone shape with flat top. One hovered and a being described as grey-green four foot with large black eyes a small mouth and no ears floated to earth from a mere height of one meter then quickly returned to the craft and both sped off.
There is a report of a large UFO being seen by several people and that the Vipavskaa valley lost electricity and mobile phones lost their signal. more
There have been many power outages yesterday throughout the country. The main capitol lost it for 5 minutes as well as some other major cities and villages.
The reports keep coming in and even the main stream media has picked up the story. Many sightings have been reported, as well as accounts of strange sounds.
In Serbia there was a village that experienced a strange phenomenon including roaring sounds accompanied with bizarre 5 minute destructive force that destroyed corn fields and many houses. more

He reports of some 3 places where the event took place. People supposedly heard strange noise and they saw a UFO.
At the same time there were supposed to be electricity blackouts. Cell phones were also dead. This is at least what a viewer told the media and handed them footage.
“We could not confirm this,” he says and mentions full moon as perhaps influencing the events.

I am a student at georgetown university in Washington DC, and last night I was walking through the capitol gardens. I walked over to where I had a good view of the white house, and I noticed a bright light hovering above the white house. I tried to get a little closer (secret service doesn't allow you very close to the white house at night) and noticed the light was coming from some weird triangular thing with a bright light on the front and several smaller lights.
I thought it was a helicopter at first, but it didn't make any noise, and as I got closer I realized it was definitely not a helicopter. I couldn't get as close as I would have liked, but it looked to be metallicish. I took a few pictures, but I was using a handheld video camera that doesn't take very good stills, and this was the only one that turned out at all. I had to mess with the camera settings and hold it perfectly still to even get a picture of the relatively low quality I have. more

I just received this email from an alleged French-Canadian Soldier:
I am a canadian soldier(reservist). I just receive a e-mail from a lieutenant of my regiment saying all reservist soldiers must be on stand by (48 hours) for deployment between october 13 and october 19. They don't say why. And they tell me not to talk to much about it so i dont create panic. Now this is very serious…I'm not liar. If you want the e-mail, I can send it to you but its all french, I'm from Québec (french native).
I have asked him for this confirmation email he speaks of. Once I receive it, I will have it posted here.

In the U.S., the latest victims were Washington Mutual (the largest U.S. savings and loan) and Wachovia (the sixth largest U.S. bank). In the U.K., after Northern Rock and the acquisition of HBOS by Lloyds TSB, you now have the bust and rescue of Bradford & Bingley; in Belgium you had Fortis going bust and being rescued over the weekend; in Germany, Hypo Real Estate, a major financial institution near bust, has also needed rescue.
So, this is not just a U.S. financial crisis. It is a global crisis hitting institutions in the U.K., the Euro-zone and other advanced economies (Iceland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada etc.).
The strains in financial markets—especially short-term interbank markets—are becoming more severe in spite of the Fed and other central banks having injected $300 billion of liquidity in the financial system last week alone, including massive liquidity lending to Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. read complete story

This from a friend in Atlanta with strong banking connections: Reliable word that Bank of America branch managers just received a letter or memo from the USFed instructing them to perhaps be ready for a one-week universal shut-down of the banking system, including access to checking accounts, savings accounts and credit cards. Reliable word has it that Bank of America bank branches received a shipment of signs last week, reading “WE'RE SORRY, BUT DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL, WE CANNOT BE OPEN AT THIS TIME.”
So the banks are in need of a respite, a break, a holiday. They need to shore up their positions. The banking system breakdown is very far along, but still early. Remember US Federal Reserve Chairman Bernanke stated over a year ago that the mortgage problem was contained. Try not to laugh. The $700 Billion bailout is not about US cash. The U.S. is a debtor nation. The cash for the bailout has to be borrowed, primarily from the Japanese and Chinese.
According to one person I've spoken to who knows the top Japan and China banking regulators, they are not happy about the U.S. p***ing their money up the wall.
Bush in Tuesday's speech insisted the toxic assets could, if held for some years, be sold at a profit.
If that was the case, there would be no need for a bailout. Banks could just sit on their assets until they recover in value. The problem is, they were so wildly overvalued, they are not going to recover in value.
How were they so wildly overvalued? You won't read it in the Financial Times or hear it on the BBC but clearly the answer is lies and fraud.
This is not a liquidity crisis. On Tuesday night, European banks deposited well over 100 Billion euros at the ECB. The banks were not prepared to leave their money for one night in a retail bank. Perhaps, they know something we don't?
If the banks deposited E100 Billion there is no shortage of cash. The point is they won't lend it. Not to each other, not to companies, not to home buyers, except at rates which make a mockery of the word 'lending.'
This is a default crisis. Banks and large corporations are going to default. The banks know that. The public do not yet. read complete story
